Fired FBI agent Peter Strzok did significant damage to the Department of Justice's Russia investigation by way of his "agenda," Michael Reagan told Newsmax TV.
The conservative commentator was on Tuesday's "Newsmax Now" and said Strzok deserved to be let go from the bureau.
"He has damaged it from the very beginning because he had an agenda, and his agenda was to find something wrong with Trump – not to find collusion – but in fact to find something he could hang on Trump, whether it be collusion or whatever it might be, to make sure he couldn't serve as president of the United States," Reagan said.

Strzok worked on the FBI's Hillary Clinton email investigation and later on the initial probe into whether the Trump campaign had improper ties to Russia. He was on the special counsel's Russia probe for a brief time last year until it was discovered he had exchanged anti-Trump texts with FBI lawyer Lisa Page.
After months of public outcry from conservatives regarding Strzok's messages and the purported bias they showed, the FBI dismissed him last week.
"What took so long?" Reagan said. "He should have been gone a long, long time ago. But the FBI, like everybody else, tries to cover their tracks. But they got to a point where they had no choice but to fire Strzok. The question is, who's next?"
